Our Story
The Frothy Cup
Located in an old historic mining town, in a building built in the 1880's, sits the locally-owned, independent coffee roaster – The Frothy Cup.
Our atmosphere is warm, rustic and inviting. We strive to make everyone feel like a welcomed guest inside our home. We bake homemade goods such as cookies and muffins, with a focus on organic and non-GMO.
Come on in and see what all the talk is about!
Our Coffee
The Frothy Cup is an independent, small batch coffee roaster of premium coffee from around the world. We know the importance of freshness when it comes to roasting and brewing coffee – there's nothing like it. Our passion is to bring that amazing experience to your palate.
By bringing in some of the best green coffee beans from around the globe, we are able to roast in small batches and craft for freshness. We offer single origin and blended Fair Trade Organic and Rainforest Alliance coffee as well as homemade freshly baked bakery goods, breakfast burritos and healthy smoothies.
Our History
Located at 1510 Miner Street in downtown Idaho Springs, in the historic Zeller building built in 1885, this building has been home to coffee roasters for over 30 years!
Renamed The Frothy Cup in 2014, we strive to offer our guests a warm and comfortable, home-like atmosphere where anyone can enjoy what we believe to be the best coffee and espresso they've ever had.
